Your order is important to us
When we receive an order for an installation, we will contact you immediately to agree a date for the installation works. This will then be followed up by correspondence confirming these details along with any additional paperwork that may be required.
Commissioning and handover
Once the installation is complete, we will undertake a comprehensive check of the system to make sure it works properly and is installed to correctly. We’ll also let you know what work we have done and give you a full demonstration of the system to ensure you operate it correctly at all times to prevent false alarms. We will explain to you your responsibilities under any fire alarm regulation to ensure you remain compliant.This includes full witness testing and sign-off of commissioning, handover procedures and any certification for compliance.
Quality to ensure your peace of mind
For every installation we do, we’ll send you a customer quality questionnaire within one week of the handover to ask about your opinion of the overall experience you had working with Elan. Once we’ve received your feedback, if necessary we can immediately address any issues you raise or improve our long term performance.
Engineering expertise
To ensure your installation goes smoothly andto plan, our installation manager will contact you and specify what engineer will be supervising the installation works. If required, we will issue a method statement and risk assessment to ensure the work is carried out correctly and safely.
All our engineers have a high standard of customer liaison skills meaning that you’ll receive exceptional customer service. Our engineers are regularly trained to ensure they meet the relevant codes of practice and in health, safety and care standard so you can be confident that the work will be completed in an efficient and professional manner.
Our engineers will update you regularly on the progress of the installation so you know exactly what is happening.
All our engineers wear an Elan uniform and carry photographic security-cleared identification. They also carry cleaning equipment and vacuum cleaners so you can be sure that they will leave your home or workplace clean and tidy.
